Samart Kaset Yont Ltd has announced that it will showcase new concepts to sugarcane harvesters at Agritechnica Asia in Bangkok from 22-24 August 2018

The company produces highly competitive SM200 and SM200 Giant sugar cane harvesters. The Samart range of products covers cane harvesters, cane grabs and soil preparation machinery providing growers with the tools that they need to be efficient.

The Samart policy is one of constant development ensuring designs are regularly reviewed, updated or changed to fulfil customer needs. Samart said that it will provide substantially lower pricing versus compatible competitive machines, without compromising quality or efficiency.

Samart Intelligent System - New

Agritechnica Asia will be the introduction platform for the Samart Intelligence System (SIS) programme. This innovative programme combines several existing electronic technologies with a unique chassis concept to provide a revolutionary “in field” yield mapping and crop output measurement system.

The harvested cane is weighed as it is cut then working the electronics with the vehicle management system “real time” production data is recorded and correlated by the onboard computers. For fleet managers, the possibility of remotely accessing data “on the move” begins to address the increasing demand from farmers and sugar producers for hard production data in “real time” and will include the possibility to report the weight of crop versus both time and engine fuel usage.

This is the first time that such an advanced, weight-based crop management has become available on any sugarcane harvester. The program will be rolled out to production over the coming season and will be fully integrated by Q2 2019.
