Horti ASIA and AGRITECHNICA ASIA which will be held at Bangkok’s International Trade and Exhibition Centre (BITEC) from 22-24 August, will focus on the theme “Solutions for Horticulture and Agricultural Industries”

Experts in manufacturing, research and academia will share their knowledge, new technologies and techniques to boost productivity for Asian agribusiness companies.

Thailand's Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives is looking to boost agricultural production and promote mechanisation to improve efficiency and reduce labour requirements.

Agriculture is a crucial sector for the government as it seeks to build an increasingly modern economy. Agricultural products such as rice, sugar and rubber act as key exports.

AGCO Holding, rotary tillage equipment maker Maschio-Gaspardo and China's Jiangsu World Agricultural Machinery Co are among the companies which will be participating in AGRITECHNICA ASIA.

Yara Thailand, Priva International Beijing and Richel Group are among the participants expected at Horti ASIA.

“We were very excited to join in this year to play an active role towards Thailand 4.0 agricultural sector modernization, and collaborate with other value chain players to improve together farmers’ efficiency and sustainability through knowledge, innovation and digital solutions,” Managing Director of Yara Thailand, Mehdi Saint-André, said.
