“Green Efficiency - inspired by solutions” is the guiding theme of Agritechnica 2021, which will be held from 14-20 November 2021 at the Exhibition Centre in Hanover, Germany

This year, the Agritechnica trade fair will also be accompanied by ‘Agritechnica digital,’ a new online platform offering both digital content and new business opportunities to complement the trade fair. Exhibitors for Agritechnica can register for a stand on 2 November 2020. The closing date for registration is 1 February 2021.

New business platform: Agritechnica digital

Agritechnica digital, alongside the Agritechnica trade fair in Hanover, is both a complementary and a new online offering. Agritechnica digital, an online business platform, aims to combine the live experience of the trade fair itself with innovative digital online information and networking. The digital platform will be online in May 2021, six months ahead of the trade fair.

For the first time, Agritechnica’s exhibitors will have the opportunity to connect online with DLG’s international network many months before the trade fair begins, allowing them to make the most of their reach. Exhibitors are offered the opportunity to host their events on the Agritechnica digital platform, present their innovations or make use of smart tools to plan and schedule customers’ visits to the trade fair.

Guiding theme ‘Green Efficiency - inspired by solutions’

Agritechnica goes straight to the heart of the matter with the theme ‘Green Efficiency-inspired by solutions’ for 2021. This new guiding theme highlights how Agritechnica will enable future-oriented farmers – together with their technology, inputs and services partners – to access new solutions, both at the Hanover event and now also on the Agritechnica digital platform.

Through ongoing cooperation between these players, crop cultivation methods for all farming systems are being developed and applied in the field, always to increase productivity, while at the same time protecting the environment and nature by reducing both crop intensity and inputs. The central question is: how can agriculture produce food, feed, raw materials and energy in the most ecologically efficient way?

With more than 446,000 trade visitors from 127 countries, Agritechnica 2019 has continued to prove itself to be highly attractive to farmers, contractors and machine rings from all over the world.
